LT STM

With equipment allows (beside sample preparation) measurements with low-temperature STM at temperatures below 1K, which results in an exellent energy resolution.

Components and Specifications:

• Joule-Thomson stage below a LHe bath cryostat,
• vacuum chambers, valves and pumps (turbo, ion and titanium sublimation pump)and pressure gauge,
• helium transfer lines, liquid helium level indicato,
• ion gun for sample sputterin,
• powerfull optical system with lateral resolution of about 40 um (including CCD sensor and cold light source,
• pressure in main chamber and in chamber for sample preparation bellow10^-10 mba,
• UHV transport system for samples and STM tip,
• sample temperature<1 K, it is possible to use samples with up to 10×10mm surface are,
• possibility of upgrading with magnetic field (up to 3T).
